Join us on Saturday, May 24th from 4:00pm-7:00pm for our Sunset Bear Boat/Booze Cruise!!!
Ticket holders meet between 4:00pm-5:00pm at Tapa’s Waikiki, 407 Seaside. You'll check in, meet and greet other passengers and enjoy a cocktail or two*. Then we'll walk over as a group at 5:00pm to the boarding area on the beach behind Dukes. An open bar on board ensures a good time for all while we wait for the sun to set.
After the 90 minute sail, you are invited back to Tapa’s Waikiki, for a light dinner (included in the price of the ticket) and a few more cocktails around 7:30pm.

Join us on Sunday, May 25th from 9:00am - 4:00pm for an excursion to Secret Island Beach Adventure!!!
Secret Island Beach Adventure is an ideal place to relax and spend the day with ‘ohana (family - biological and chosen) and hoa (friends). Bring your reef-safe sunscreen, swimsuit, water shoes, towel, shades, and a camera for a fun-filled beach day. Activities include kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, beach volleyball, table tennis, or horseshoes (first come, first served). Of course, you can just relax and read a book in a hammock under a swaying palm tree.
Showers and changing rooms are available on Secret Island so bring a change of clothes and a towel if you’re planning to take a dip in the ocean.
A light lunch will be provided by The Aloha Bears and Tapa’s Waikiki for anyone joining us on the bus.
Keep in mind there are no stores on the island, so you can bring your own drinks and small coolers, along with any other snacks if you want… just no glass bottles. Cans are preferred to avoid using single-use plastics.
Schedule:
Check-in and bus pick up will be at Tapa’s Waikiki, 407 Seaside Avenue, starting at 9:00am.
We have two busses and they will depart at 10:00am from Tapa’s to Secret Island.
The busses will be ready to depart Secret Island at 3:00pm for our return to Tapa’s.
Ticket price is $100 and 10% off for members using a special discount code!!! (Become a member today!!)
Of course you are welcome to drive to the location on your own as well - Direction Information.
Ticket price for anyone looking for a discount but opts not to take the bus can purchase through us here for $50. (Members also get 10% off)

Monthly Pool Tournament @ Tapa’s Waikiki
Sunday, June 1st - 2pm-6pm
Monthly Pool Tournament and Draft Beer/Well Liquor Bust at Tapa's Waikiki from 2pm-6pm every 1st Sunday of the month.
Registration for the pool tournament will begin around 2pm with Ben at the pool table. Entry is $5 (winner takes all) and the tournament will begin at 2:30pm.
The draft beer/well liquor bust will start at 2:00pm.
$8 at the door for your first cup of either draft beer or well drink*.
Refills at the bar for $3 for draft beer and $4 for well drinks

BOAR MEMBER ELECTIONS
Join The Aloha Bears for our monthly General Meeting, every 2nd Thursday of the month. This month will be board elections. We will be sending ballots via email to current members. Or, you can join this meeting and vote in person.
This is an in-person meeting at Tapa's Waikiki open to our members and invited guests. We ask that you please RSVP if you can, but we meet in the back near the pool table, so there is enough space.
If you want to come early, around 7pm, some of us meet for a drink and dinner. We sit together as 'ohana, talk story, and enjoy each others company before the meeting.
As a current member in good standing, one of the benefits allows you to not only vote for any board members up for re-election, but you can present new ideas, ask questions to the board, get to know more about our group, or join a committee.
