Founded in 1983 under the name Life Foundation, the Hawai’i Health & Harm Reduction Center(H3RC) has been serving Hawaii’s MVPFAFF/LGBTQIA+ community for over 40 years. Our mission is to reduce the harm and fight the stigma of HIV, hepatitis, homelessness, substance use, mental illness, and poverty in our community. We focus our efforts on those disproportionately affected by social determinants of health, including but not limited to: people living with and/or affected by HIV, hepatitis, substance use, and the transgender, LGBQ and the Native Hawaiian communities. We foster health, wellness, and systemic change in Hawai’i and the Pacific through care services, advocacy, training, prevention, education, and capacity building.
SafeHaus Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports mental health services for clients facing financial barriers.
The organization allocates funding for various therapeutic and wellness-oriented services to ensure that each potential client seeking mental wellness care receives compassionate care without limits.
SafeHaus Foundation sponsors therapy, coaching, massage, and personal training services for LGBTQIA+ clients impacted by financial distress.

Kids Hurt Too Hawaii offers a free and safe place for children & youth with grief and trauma, ages 3 – 19, as well as support for their caregivers.
The name “Kids Hurt Too” was chosen by children in 2006. In 2011, the official name of the organization became “Kids Hurt Too Hawaii.”
Since its beginning, Kids Hurt Too Hawaii (KHTH) has provided group support and training services to thousands of children, youth, caregivers, and providers in Hawaii.
KHTH has trained more than 5,000 adults, and conducted 50 crisis interventions. They provide the following services to children who have lost one or both parents - Peer Support Groups, Crisis Management, Mentoring for Positive Growth.
Spill The Tea Cafe (STTC) is an inclusive mental health clinic focused on adolescents. Teenagers are particularly vulnerable to mental health challenges due to the unique social, emotional, and developmental challenges they face. STTC is a specialized healthcare facility that aims to provide comprehensive and evidence-based treatment and support to adolescents struggling with mental health issues. The goal of STTC is to promote the mental health and well-being of adolescents by providing accessible, compassionate, and personalized care.
At STTC, adolescents may receive a range of services, including individual and group therapy, mentorship, care coordination, and psychoeducation, to address their specific needs and preferences. STTC also offers support to families and caregivers, as well as community resources and referrals, to help adolescents and their loved ones navigate the challenges of mental health and achieve lasting recovery and resilience.
By addressing the unique needs of pre-teens, teens, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent keiki and providing a supportive environment for their healing and growth, STTC helps teens build the skills and resilience they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
Founded in 1988, the mission of Gregory House Programs is to provide affordable housing assistance and support services to our Hawaii community's most vulnerable individuals and families, with a focus on persons living with HIV/AIDS. Gregory House Programs is the premier housing provider for PLWH (Persons Living with HIV) on Oahu operating two (2) transitional housing facilities and the Save The FoodBasket program; and the only Statewide HIV/AIDS housing program. While our programs are open to all those in need, we have a focus on PLWH (Persons Living With HIV). Stable, permanent housing is essential to long term survival with HIV.
Children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients' ability to pay.
Hale Kipa is a private, non-profit organization created in 1970 to better the lives of at-risk youth throughout the state of Hawaii. Hale Kipa provides opportunities and environments that strengthen and encourage youth, their families and communities to actualize their potential and social responsibility.
The Hawai'i LGBT Legacy Foundation produces Honolulu Pride, hosts the LGBTQ+ Center Honolulu and creates educational programs, like the Rainbow Town Hall series, that inform and empower Hawaii’s LGBTQIA+ community. The Foundation also provides financial and in-kind support to organizations addressing social, health and economic inequalities in our communities. Committed to a legacy of hope, equality and unity, the Hawai'i LGBT Legacy Foundation works to help LGBTQIA+ people live happy, healthy and productive lives as integral members of the larger diverse community that is Hawaiʻi.
